We offer IRA accounts, both Traditional and Roth, Coverdell ESA, and SEP IRAs in Savings and Term Share Certificates.

What is an IRA?

An Individual Retirement Account allows you to save money for retirement tax free until you withdraw it in retirement.

What is a Roth IRA?

With a Roth IRA you pay taxes on money going into your account and then all future withdrawals are tax free.

What is a Coverdell ESA?

This account lets you save money for the qualified education expenses of a named beneficiary, such as a child or grandchild. Qualified education expenses include college expenses and certain elementary and secondary school expenses.

What is a SEP IRA?

A Simplified Employee Pension Individual Retirement Arrangement can be used by business owners to provide retirement benefits for themselves and their employees.

  • If you are an existing member you can either call Member Services at 1-800-894-1200 or go to a branch
  • If you are not an existing member, you have two options:
    • Apply for a Primary Savings account and open your membership online here, then call or visit a branch to open your IRA account
    • Or visit a branch near you to open all your of your accounts at the same time
